As the head of the Library’s Collection Development and Gift & Exchange Team, Mr. TANG is responsible for the development of the Library’s collections in all formats. Major duties include supervising the evaluation, contract negotiation, acquisition, budget management of library resources in all formats as well as access activation, cataloguing, and service platform management for electronic resources. He also serves as Lingnan’s representative in the JULAC Consortiall and HKMAC Committees.

Research Interests:

Challenges and solutions to e-resources and serials management in the digital and internet era, together with the issues on collection development and management, cost, archiving, open access, and resources linking and sharing.
