Thank you for your email.

Library staff and Library Service Ambassadors have regular patrol on public areas during the Library opening hours and will remind users to discuss at a reasonable noise level.  A few more signs have been put up for reminding users to keep quiet in the Library, included study rooms in the Library 3/F.  However, if you identify any user who is talking loudly in the public area, please contact our duty staff at the Circulation Counter, MLLC Counter or Information Commons Helpdesk immediately.  We shall send a staff to assist. You can also send us a WhatsApp message at number 6057-6002 (Service Hours: 11:00-19:00 Monday to Friday) so that we can take immediate action.

On the other hand, for users who require a quiet space, we like to suggest them to consider to use the seats in the north wing of 1/F, or book an individual room.

If we can assist you further, please let us know.

Best Regards,

Andrew Liu

It is the second time that I met some students were having a drastic discussion in the Study Room (3rd F, the one closed to the toilet). Do this room allowed discussion? Can you please address this problem? Thank you very much.
