Thank you for your email. Library staff and Library Service Ambassadors have regular patrol on public areas during the Library opening hours and will remind users to discuss at a reasonable noise level and have their drinks in Café, 1/F Library.  Signs have been put up for reminding users to keep quiet and do not have food and drinks in the Library, included study rooms in the Library 3/F.  However, if you identify any user who is talking loudly or having food and drinks in the public area, please contact our duty staff at the Circulation Counter, MLLC Counter or Information Commons Helpdesk immediately.  We shall send a staff to assist.  You can also send us a WhatsApp message at number 6057-6002 (Service Hours: 11:00-19:00 Monday to Friday) so that we can take immediate action.

If we can assist you further, please let us know.

I love everything about the library, but there is one thing concerns me as well as other students who use the third floor Library study room 2. I see that a lot of students have their group discussion in the study room, where we suppose to be quiet. Sometimes, some students even drink their coke to drink. For my suggestion, any how can the library put some sign such as no group discussion on each table or something else similar to this? I, along with other students who obey the library's rules, would be very appreciated your help. Thank you so much.
