- What is the Lee Hak Kan Multimedia and
Language Learning Centre?The Lee Hak Kan Multimedia and Language Learning Centre is situated at the Library 2/F. It contains a range of language learning materials for five main languages: English, Putonghua and written Chinese, Japanese, French and Spanish.
Examination kits for IELTS, TOEFL and TPP, etc., are also available. Students can use print, audio-visual or multimedia materials, depending on their preferences for autonomous language learning.
The Centre also houses a wide selection of local and foreign movies, and TV series in support of the cultural studies, visual studies and translation programmes. Microfilms of old newspapers and archival materials are collected for historical research.
Audio and video booths are available for individual viewing. DVD and blu-ray players are installed in the computers. Scanners, photocopiers and printers are available. A mini-theatre is set up for serving group activities purposes. Writing and English tutorials are conducted in the seminar rooms of the Centre.¡@
