• Discussion Groups 

The discussion groups aim to develop students' oral fluency and improve students' confidence when speaking English so that they may be better prepared to cope with the demands placed on them in their University studies and future careers.

• Drop-in Hours

Students who have quick questions can make use of the Drop-in Hours program. At certain times each week there is a consultant on duty in the Centre who is available to answer questions and give advice. Students can use this service if they have a problem with an assignment or with material they are using in the Centre. The tutor will not edit or proof-read any assessment.

• Workshops

Workshops are held regularly on different topics, and students are encouraged to participate. Topics may be related to immediate needs such as job search skills, or may be of general interest, such as English rock music or singing.
