Brief Description:

This workshop is to introduce different Library resources, and to enhance students' information literacy competencies.

Aim:

To let the students learn how to locate different information resources from the Library. Also, this workshop can be served as part of the preparation for the Information Technology Fluency (ITF) Test.

Duration: 60 min.

Learning Outcomes:

On completion of this workshop, students will be able to:

  • Identify and evaluate various resources from the Library and on the Internet
  • Identify the functions of the 1-Search and learn the basic searching strategies
  • Identify the self-help guides and popular online databases that the Library provides
