Pop-up Blocker Configurations for Viewing Luna Insight Online Image Collections

Luna Insight will not work properly if pop-up windows are disabled. In order to use the Lingnan Luna Insight Online Image Collections, you should include LINGNAN.LUNAIMAGING.COM in the allowed list of Pop-ups.

Click on the following step-by-step tutorials for

• Internet Explorer 6.0 with Windows XP Service Pack 2
• Netscape 7.2
• Firefox 1.5

If you are also using other pop-up blockers (e.g. Google Toolbar), you may also have to disable these pop-up blockers temporarily or adjust their allowed sites settings.

Sample Search

1. Access Luna Insight: click "Databases" tab on the Library Home Page; browse under "Visual Studies" or enter "LUNA" at the search e-resources area.

2. Follow the instructions above to enable pop-up windows below opening Luna Insight.

3. Open the desired image collection. (e.g. "Art Throughout the Ages", "Chinese Art", etc.)

4. As indicated in the sample search screens below for the Art Throughout the Ages, users may retrieve the images by entering search keys or browse by periods; they can also view detailed description of the images and view high-resolution images.
