We are looking for students to join our team as part-time Library Services Ambassadors and now invite applications.
Job Duties 工作內容
- Assist users in checking in/out Library materials and answer directional questions at the Library Service Counter
提供借還服務及回答讀者的詢問 - Assist users in using Library equipment including PCs, AV equipment, Self-checkout station, print/copy/scan equipment
協助讀者使用圖書館設備，︀包括電腦、視聽設備、自助借書機、列印/影印/掃描設備 - Deliver Library materials to the Departmental Office and support HKALL and Partners Services
運送圖書館資料至大學各部門的辦公室及支援館際借還服務 - Re-shelve Library materials
將圖書館資料上架 - Patrol and tidy up the Library public area, assist in shelf-reading and stock-taking exercise
巡館、整理圖書館對外的公共範圍、讀架及盤點工作 - Take up Library opening and closing procedures
協助圖書館順利開館及閉館 - Other duties as assigned by the supervisor or his/her designate
執行主管或其指定員工所指派的其他工作
Requirements 要求
- Full/Part-time students of Lingnan University // Non-Lingnan public (aged 18 or above with Hong Kong ID card or working permit)
嶺南大學全職/兼職學生 // 非嶺南大學公眾人士 （18歲或以上持有香港身份證或工作許可證） - Secondary school graduate or above
中學畢業或以上程度 - Take up weekday day/night shift duties AND weekend shift duties
日班/夜班及週末輪班工作 - Be polite and with good service attitude
有禮及服務態度良好 - Responsible and detail-oriented
有責任心及注重細節 - Have reasonable computer skills and familiar with Chinese input
具有基礎電腦技能及熟悉中文輸入法 - Good interpersonal and communication skills
良好的人際溝通及溝通能力 - Ability to communicate fluently in English, Cantonese AND Putonghua would be an advantage
能夠流利地用英語、粵語及普通話溝通為佳 - Punctual and persistent
守時及堅守岡位
Salary 薪金
- HKD $65 / Hour (weekly working hours will be less than 18 hours)
時薪 HKD $65 （每星期工作時數不多於18小時）
