Please be informed that Lingnan University Library will undergo a major renovation at the 1/F and plans to start the actual construction work in mid-December 2020. It is expected that the work may take more than eight months to complete and the full opening will be in late 2021/early 2022 depending on the approval of Government departments. During the renovation period, the whole 1/F of the Library will be closed and more than 270 seats will be unavailable. Unavoidable dust, noise and smell will also be generated inside the Library.

As we may not be able to provide the best Library services to our paid membership users, we would like to suspend the new and renewal application for individual External Borrower's/Reader's Card from 1 June 2020 to 28 February 2022. Your kind understanding of this arrangement is highly appreciated. We hope the card application will be resumed in early 2022 and welcome you to join us again and enjoy a new and better Library. We also regret any inconveniences that may cause.
