The Library is proud to launch a new Research Data Management (RDM) platform today to assist researchers for managing research data.

RDM is increasingly important to research; it covers all aspects of data management throughout the research lifecycle, that is required by many funders. UGC also promotes RDM and includes this in its roadmap to Open Access. In response to this call and to better support and advocate good RDM practices and tools at every stage of research, the Library develops a new suite of services to help Lingnan Researchers manage research data efficiently.

Upon request, Library’s Research Support Team can support Lingnan research community to review their data needs on either individual or project basis, and to work out proper solutions from planning, ongoing management practices and sharing across all stages.

Library will organize RDM-training workshops in the fall of the coming academic year to introduce RDM to Lingnan research community in more details.  Stay Tuned with Library’s announcement.

Data Repository Support

“Lingnan Data Repository” is established to serve as a dedicated platform for Lingnan’s research community to deposit share and publish their research datasets.
