The Library entered the first Open Access (OA) Publishing Agreement with Cambridge University Press (CUP) in 2022. This agreement has transformed a total of 23 scholarly articles authored by 21 Lingnan authors to become OA, saving over US$73,000 Article Processing Charges (APC) for the University.
Commencing in 2024, the Library is pleased to announce to have signed Two more OA Publishing Agreements with Springer Nature and Wiley, making a total of 4 OA agreements to be in place to support Lingnan authors. Each would come with specific OA eligibility and Quota mechanism, please check out "Details" of each respective publisher's terms.
