Objective
This interactive training workshop invites students to embark on a historical journey through the iconic Kai Tak Airport, which served as Hong Kong's international gateway from 1925 until its closure in 1998. Using Gale Primary Sources, participants will learn how to explore digitised archives, newspapers, photographs, and government documents to uncover the rich aviation, urban, and cultural history surrounding Kai Tak. This workshop is ideal for students studying history, urban development, media, and aims to enhance digital literacy and critical thinking through archival exploration.
