Wharton Research Data Services (WRDS) is a widely used platform for diverse financial-related research. To access, trace, and analyse the historical market data, you may access the professional database Center for Research in Security Prices (CRSP) via WRDS. By joining this workshop, you will be able to:

1. Explore the datasets and tutorials available on WRDS

2. Learn and practise the basic operations of the WRDS web queries for retrieving and exporting CRSP data

3. Explore the linking tools between CRSP and other databases in WRDS

4. Explore how to use the WRDS coding Tool Kit to retrieve, analyse and export data (Demo on JupyterHub, SAS or R or with sample codes)
