Measuring research impact is important for academic institutions, journals, researchers, and funding agencies. However, accurately capturing impact remains challenging, as no single metric can fully represent the quality or significance of research. By joining this workshop, you will be able to:

1. Understand commonly used metrics for evaluating the academic impact of articles, journals, and authors

2. Recognise forms of research impact beyond academia

3. Identify tools for accessing and analysing research metrics

4. Interpret metrics critically and use them responsibly
