Sustainable Development Goals Mapping Tool
Lingnan's SDG Mapping Tool (Beta)
In support of the University's commitment to SDG contributions, the Library has developed its own SDG Mapping Tool, which references the latest Elsevier queries to identify SDGs relevant to your manuscript. To use it, simply provide the title, abstract, and keywords of your manuscript; the SDG mapping results will be sent to your Lingnan email within 4 hours.
User Guide & Technical Notes (Click to view details)
How It Works
The tool utilizes the latest SDG mapping queries developed by Elsevier. By matching standard SDG classification keywords against the Title, Abstract, and Keywords of the publication you provide, the system identifies which of the 17 global goals connect to your research.
Submission Requirements
- Language: All inputs must be in English.
- Character Limits: Please adhere to the maximum character limits specified for each field in the tool.
What to Expect
- Direct Delivery: Once your submission is processed, the SDG mapping results will be sent directly to your Lingnan email address within 4 hours.
Note: These SDG mapping results are for reference only. In addition to your author-provided fields (Title, Abstract, and Keywords), Scopus utilizes a predictive machine learning model and system-generated metadata (such as Indexed Terms and Subject Areas) to classify SDGs. Hence, discrepancies may occur compared to the final mapping published on Scopus.
