It has been well over a year since the disaster happened at the Fukushima Dai-ichi Nuclear Power Plant in 2011. But every day, 3,000 workers endure radiation exposure as they work on the disaster cleanup. The film follows a group of subcontractors hired by Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO), who are mostly local Fukushima residents. They now have no choice but to earn a living working at the very plant that has caused their misery, as it is the only company left in this radioactive contaminated town. What do these men face each day, and what goes on in their minds? This is a portrait of the lives of men who must work amidst unprecedented radioactive contamination.
