本集就有關基因改造食物作出討論，分析當中涉及特區政府如何厘定準則，立法保障消費者的知情權。以日本實行基因改造成份的食品標籤法作為借鏡。另外，一直以來，環保團體和基因研學者，就基因改造科技引發有關道德價值，科研技術，對生態的影響等等方面的爭議焦點和方向，亦會作出討論。
