A year after the inception of the Accountability System of Principal Officials, the popularity of the government and its principal officials plummeted. Reviews the performance of several officials. James Tien Pei-chun (Leader, Liberal Party) and Robert Chung Ting-yiu (Pollster, University of Hong Kong) express their opinion. It is pointed out that if public apology is not delivered properly, it affects the credibility of the entire accountability system.
