Printer-friendlyPrinter-friendly

Regular host Steve Vines introduces Chris Dobson, who has returned from Phuket where he was filming the aftermath of the tsunami for us. His report looks at how the tsunami has affected people's lives, and at determined attempts to get things back to normal. Interviews with Thai, Hong Kong, and other nationalities involved in the recovery process. It seemed for a while as if politics might be put on the back burner as some parties worked together on January 1st to raise money for tsunami relief. But political points still did get scored, and the truce was not universal. What about the children? In the studio Dr Robert Fung, Chairman of UNICEF Hong Kong talks to Steve Vines about the work of the charity in the Tsunami-affected regions.
