Atypical pneumonia latest; 2003 Budget approved (10 Apr 2003)

As Hong Kong battles to contain the outbreak of atypical pneumonia, senior officials have promised relief measures for businesses hit by the crisis. In tonight's programme, the small and medium enterprises association spells out where it believes efforts should be targeted. In the meantime the 2003 budget is given final approval by Legco, despite opposition from the Democratic Party, which calls for salaries tax increases to be shelved.
