Bali bounces back ; The new curse (27 May 2003)

As Bali accounts for 25% of Indonesia's tourism revenue, the government and local businesses express eagerness to revive the industry. Surveys show recovered SARS patients and people who live in affected buildings or have friends suffering from SARS suffer from mood disorders. Kathleen Kwok Bik-san (Clinical Psychologist, Hong Kong Healthy Emotion Centre) says anxiety is highly contagious and may be even more contagious than SARS. Looks at how SARS patients and others are coping with this problem.
