Brand Marketing (23 Feb 2003)

Fame comes before profit. After a company has come into being, it will strive to build up its image. David and Bonny, founders of a small and medium enterprise, understood that it had to take much time and effort for a new product to be accepted by the market. Their new product, Linux, was rather strange to the local market. Therefore, they conducted many impressive promotions to popularize their company in the early stage, but to no avail. So, they decided to reshuffle. With limited resources, they were eventually able to build up an image overseas and won an award in an exhibition in the Silicone Valley. In this episode, they recalled how they came to fame in the face of great hardship in launching their product.
