In Malaysia, ethnic Indians are at the bottom of the economic ladder. While ethnic Chinese controls the economy, the Malays are catching up with the government's help. Indians claim that practice of state racism has marginalized non-Malays. Looks at what the government is doing to help restore racial parity. The government has adopted the policy of conserving Hong Kong's historical buildings by leasing it to the private sector. The developers are allowed to turn these monuments into commercial establishments with strict conditions to preserve them. Examines the effect this policy has on the historical buildings.
