Looks at corporal punishment in India where critics say has gone too far. Teachers often beat up students and a teacher even drags a naked student around in front of other students. A major cause of school dropout, corporal punishment is synonymous with physical and mental torture and even leads to one youngster's suicide. Discusses the safety and training in the use of sophisticated hi-tech machines such as lasers and intense pulsed-light devices for cosmetic treatments in beauty parlours in Hong Kong. While the government and medical experts believe regulating the use of these machines is necessary, beauticians disagree.
