Domestic Helpers (11 Feb 2003)

Printer-friendlyPrinter-friendly

The Hong Kong Government is reviewing its policy on domestic helpers from overseas, a policy that has been in effect for 30 years. To many, the review is long overdue. But they find it difficult to compete for placements against the 237,000 domestic helpers from overseas who are already here.
