After three radio talk-show hosts go off-air, Allen Lee Peng-fei (Radio Talk-show Host) says the other two talk-show hosts are obviously shaken and there is little the government can do to assure them. Says this will gravely affect the outcome of the September Legislative Council election. David Armstrong (Editor, South China Morning Post) agrees that there is a threatening climate and that the event is more than coincidence. Tyler Marshall (Hong Kong Correspondent, The Los Angeles Times and Pulitzer Prize Winner) says this is a failure of leadership which has the responsibility to set the tone in which democratic rights are exercised.
