Venice Biennale. Visual and performing artists from Hong Kong are among those taking part this year.David Auburn's "Proof" was a major success on Broadway. It's about a woman whose father is a maths genius, but also insane. She is wondering how much of his gift, or curse, she has inherited. The Hong Kong Repertory Theatre is presenting both a Cantonese and a Putonghua version of the play.Throughout July, nine local galleries are featuring works by 23 Australian artists. "Australia- Art & About", arranged with the Australian Consulate, includes aboriginal and contemporary paintings, glass, sculpture, and other fine arts. We're joined in the studio by soloists Kyoko Tomimura and William Lin from the Hong Kong Ballet. They're performing an excerpt from "The Emperor and the Nightingale".Choreographer Domy Reiter-Soffer talks to Ben Pelletier about the production.
