Traces the development of martial arts in Hong Kong since the last century. With the political instability in the late Qing dynasty in mainland, renowned martial arts masters come to Hong Kong. Chan Tat-fu (Vice-president, Hong Kong Chinese Martial Arts Association Limited (HKCMAAL)) talks about the various kung fu schools and the reasons for the popularity in the society. A free fighting competition in 1954 between two masters, Ng Kung-yee and Chan Hak-fu, accelerates its development and the booming of martial arts fictions. It reaches the peak with the appearance of Bruce Lee. Ng Ho (Associate Professor, Department of Cinema and Television, Hong Kong Baptist University) talks about the contemporary history of martial arts films. Kong Pui-wai (Chairman, HKCMAAL) discusses its modern development as a sports event.
