Tonight's programme reports on the ever-expanding Hong Kong Literary Festival, with more than 40 leading authors gathering in the territory. Among them is Maxine Hong Kingston, pioneer of Asian-American writing, who talks to reporter Diana Wan. There's also a feature on the Macau Arts Festival and a breakneck stage performance currently showing in Hong Kong, delivering an abridged version of all 37 Shakespeare plays in 97 minutes! Tonight's studio guest is Ada Wong, a member of the former Culture and Heritage Commission, assessing the Government's response to the commission's recommendations on the development of the arts.
