Though drastically reduced now, the looting at Angkor Wat, Cambodia was once so rampant that authorities resorted to removing many statues from it simply to protect them. But protecting remote archeological sites is practically impossible. Looks at one such site where relics have been dug up by villagers and sold. Medical experts suspect the avian flu has mutated and can be transmitted from human to human. Although the government has implemented measures against bird flu after the 1997-2003 outbreaks, Lo Wing Lok (Legislative Councillor, Medical Constituency) says they are not sure proof and the health authority must not be complacent.
