Printer-friendlyPrinter-friendly

This is the second of a two-part series that talks about the lives of mainland Chinese students who have studied overseas, subsequently decide to return to China. Those who are interviewed include a desert scientist in Lanzhou, an agricultural scientist in Beijing, an energy engineer from Japan, and an Information Technology company founder. It is found that these people have all given up a higher wage in returning to China, believing that China holds the greatest potential for their self-development, in research, international recognition, or the entrepreneurial profit-making.
