New head of Hong Kong's flagship orchestra talks to The Works. (24 Mar 2004)

In tonight's progamme, the world-renowned conductor Edo de Waart tells host Ben Pelletier of his plans for the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra. The Dutch mastro is due to take over as Artistic Director of the territory's flagship orchestra in September, and comes with a reputation for raising the status and profile of the orchestras he's worked with. There's also the concluding part of a feature examining the success of the Korean movie industry.
