Rising toll of the East Harbour Tunnel (08 May 2005)

<p>The Eastern Harbour Tunnel increased its toll by 67 percent on May 1st, raising fears of chaotic traffic conditions. However, traffic has been normal in all three tunnels in the last few days. Should the government take over all three tunnels as as to better regulate prices and traffic? And is it time to consider electronic road pricing? Discuss these issues with Robert Footman (Transport Commissioner)</p>
