Sixty Years On (II) - Seeking Redress (27 Oct 2005)

From 1931 to the end of the 2nd World War, there was no love lost between China and Japan. Hostilities ceased 60 years ago, but there has never been real amity between the two countries. For years, surviving victims of Japanese atrocities in China have been seeking redress from the Japanese Government. If they do not succeed, there seems little likelihood the bitter past can be laid to rest.
