Portrays Tien Chang-lin, Chairman of the Commission Innovation & Technology. Tien moved to Taiwan with his parents when he was young and went to the United States to study at the age of nineteen. After completing a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy degree at the age of 23, he became the seventh chancellor of the University of Southern California (Berkeley) in 1991. He was the first Chinese person to hold the position at the University. Tien's wife, friends and colleagues talk about Tien's attitude towards dealing with problems and his other characteristics.
