Books

With 460,000+ volumes, all Library books are stored and shelved on 1/F to 3/F of the Library. They are all available to checkout, and searchable on 1-Search. You can also easily locate them on the shelf.

Generally speaking, all books in the Library can be checked out, including High Use Books, Large Books, and all books on the 1/F, M/F, 2/F and 3/F. Please refer to the Checkout Privileges page for more details.

References

The References mainly comprises quick reference tools including dictionaries, abstracts, indexes, bibliographies, directories, handbooks, yearbooks, statistical sources, government documents and annual reports of various organisations in Hong Kong, China to provide quick facts and reference. This in-house use collection is located at the 2/F Zone A and C with a prefix [REF] for your easy reach and consultation with our professional librarians at the Service Counter.
