Library Notice

Eligible users can check out Library materials using their LU Card at the Self-Checkout Station or the Service Counter (1/F Zone A). Non-Lingnan JULAC Card Holders can use their JULAC card to check out after first registration at the Service Counter.

 

For requested Library/HKALL & Partners materials, items will be automatically checked out when picking up from the Self-Pickup Locker at the Lobby (1/F Zone B).

Checkout Privileges vary by user types. Once an item is checked out using the above method, an auto-email notification with the due date information will be sent via email.

The Library will send a weekly reminder every Monday to all users, summarising checkouts, renewals, and overdue items as a courtesy and reminder.

Note:

All Library materials are subject to recall by other users. An email notification will be sent for any revised/shortened due date.

If your Library Account has any service blocks or fines reaching HK$30, your Library Account will be blocked. The suspension includes all entitled Library privileges, including checkout privileges and renewal (including automatic renewal) of Library materials, use of electronic resources, and access to other Library resources through JULAC Libraries. You should settle all fines before resuming your checkout privileges.
