From 1-Search, besides materials available in the LU Library, you may also find materials from other libraries with HKALL and Partners service.
HKALL and Partners service
Eligible Lingnan staff and students can request the materials from other libraries using this HKALL and Partners service. With this service, you may request digital articles, digital book chapters, and physical items from other libraries.
You may check your eligibility at Checkout Privileges for more details.
Below are the steps for submitting an HKALL and Partners request.
- Go to Library homepage or 1-Search
*Note: You are required to sign in with your LU account to use this service - Change the Search Coverage to "HKALL and Partners" to cover materials from other libraries in your search result
- Click the title to visit the detailed record page for more details
- Under the "Request from Other Libraries (conditions may apply)" column, click "REQUEST"
- After you finished filling in the form, click "Send" to place a request
After placing a request, you may track and manage your request(s) under your Library account.
