Open Access (OA) Publishing Agreements (also known as Transformative Agreements or Read & Publish Agreements) are contracts negotiated between a publisher and an institution (mostly through Library), to shift the payments away from subscription-based reading of journals to support OA publishing. The agreements vary among publishers with different terms and conditions apply.

The Library has entered OA Agreements with the following publishers, with fee paid on top of the journal subscription costs, allowing Lingnan authors to publish an agreed number of OA articles in the publishers’ academic journals at no additional cost upon fulfilling specific conditions.
