Open Access (OA) initiative aims at transforming scholarly publishing towards a barrier-free approach and making the research outputs of researchers to all users at no cost. The Library supports OA publishing at Lingnan by providing the following services to help offsetting Full / Partial Cost incurred from OA Publishing in the following ways:
Library has entered a total of 4 OA Publishing Agreements with publishers, allowing Lingnan authors to publish OA articles at no additional cost.
The University established the Open Access Publishing Support Fund (Lingnan-OA Fund) to support Lingnan authors to publish in OA journals.
Lingnan Authors can take Green OA route to Self-Archive their Preprint / Accepted Author Manuscripts to Lingnan Scholars upon compiling publishers' policy.
